RHR part 1. Training in Vancouver

Well, we have arrived in Vancouver for 4 days of training. We are so excited to be here! We are staying at the Delta Airport. Very busy, the Canadian Open is on and they are staying here.
What a relief from the heat wave back east!

Day 1 of training at the Rick Hansen Foundation was great. Met all of our team. Great bunch! Got to shake hands with Rick Hansen himself today! What an honor! We learned our dance. Will post picks when we get good at it!!! After a long day of training we went for an awesome dinner at the Flying Beaver with the crew.

Day 2 of training. Met the whole RHR crew. Lot's of new names and faces also some familiar ones.
Day 3 of training. Lots of really interesting and important info. Got to check out the vehicles. Very nice!
Day 4 Test Event. Fun and stressful day doing an actual day of the Relay. Things went off reasonably well and we all learned alot.
Day 5 Dropped off commercial vehicles at CN yard and said goodbye to our new family. Spent afew hours walking around Richmond before our flight.
We now have a 2 1/2 week break before we start again. Stay tuned!
