14th and 15th Mar. We pretty much did nothing all day but eat a huge meal for lunch where i scoffed down a burger, chips, banana shake, pancake and fruit and then got stuff ready for the party. We bought our disposable camera's and i got my hair straightened for only 100B...so cheap. It was so nice to have it done properly again, i even felt like a woman!!! When i got back to the room to get ready the guys didn't recognise me at first with my hair done!!! I thought this was definitely the occasion for my green short shorts and we all felt really geared up for the night. Our ticket to the Island of Koh Pha-Ngan was 750B return so it was already and expensive night. Carson even shaved his beard in a pattern for the night and started to howl at the moon before we even left. We got to the boat after power walking and it looked packed. On the ferry
on the way to the full moon partydownstairs it was pretty much empty so i hollered to Carson and we ended up getting seats which was great. We watched Hard Rain which was shit. We decided not to drink on the boat over as they were way too expensive and we wanted to last all night as it was only 5 in the arvo and the ferry went back at 7am.
The streets were pretty packed and the first liquor shop we found we went straight in and bought some drinks. I got a pancake and the guys got some dinner. We bought some body paint (which glows under the neon lights) and Steph and i went straight to work decorating our arms. On the way to the beach we picked up a bucket and it was so so strong that the guys drank most of it. We had no idea how to get to the beach so we just followed everyone else and eventually we got there, which was pretty hard to miss and even thought the beach wasn't as long as i thought it would be, and it wasn't busy yet, i could still feel the energy and excitement around me. with our first drinks of the night awesome fire shows and walked along the beach dancing to all the different types of music that each club was playing. It was bizarre to stand in between 2 clubs and dance to 2 different types of music at the same time.
The guys were at me all afternoon about getting a pash (some of you may not know but a pash is a kiss!!!) as they hadn't yet seen the moo in action and i was promising them that i wouldn't let them down. We decided to go inside one of the clubs to have a dance. We had a great time dancing and drinking and i even got to show the guys the moo in pashing action!!! hihihi...I don't think i let them down either! We then moved on to the next place but actually on the beach and got stuck into the drinking and dancing. We even painted Carsons beard to show off his trim even more. Once we started to dance again i instantly saw a hot guy and it didn't take long for him to come and join me for a chat and some dancing. Ben was actually staying in Koh Samui and i
was making my way there in a few days and we talked about meeting up. He told me where he was staying but me being drunk i forgot pretty quickly and just figured that i would ask him again later. He seemed like a really cool guy and we spent a few hours chatting, dancing and pashing away on the beach while Carson took off somewhere. Ben and i ended up getting separated and i was kinda peed off. I wasn't sure if he intentionally left me or got dragged off by his mates. Steph even had the shits about it too as she said he seemed like a genuine guy...I eventually got over it and decided that we needed some food, so we headed up the street hearing moooooooooooooo behind us as Carson finds us again. We get the most delicious chicken crunchy thing on a roll and then head back to the beach where Carson loses us again (intentionally to follow a Swiss/Sweed girl - i actually yelled at him for this!).
Steph and i watched some more fire shows and by this time its 3am and i wanted to have a nap on the beach but
Steph wouldn't let me (as she didn't wanna miss the boat back in the morning) so i take a quick cat nap on her shoulder and before i know it, we are up again and back to where the partying is happening. Steph was still drinking whereas i had stopped a little while ago and i was now on a natural high and my second wind. I started to dance like i had never danced before and a hot guy joined me. But then a fight broke out and we got separated. Steph got up on the bar and started dancing. She was going nuts on the bar and i was going nuts on the beach. I ended up yelling at Steph for some reason and a guy next to me heard my accent (swearing) and we got chatting. He ended up being from Aust and lived in Campbelltown!!! about 40mins away from me. He also went to the same uni (UWS) but Kingswood campus whereas i was at Hawkesbury! We hugged like we were best mates and it was so bizarre, but awesome. Next thing Steph jumps off the stage and grabs me pulling me away and i shrug
her off thinking she's gone mad when she tells me that we have to go to the ferry. I had the shits as i wanted to stay but i knew that we really did have to go. I say bye to the fellow Aussie and we start our way back to the ferry where Steph thought she would lead the way even though i told her we were going the wrong way. I followed her till she asked someone and he told us to go the way that i wanted to go. We then came to another fork in the road and i decided that i was going to go my way (the right way hehehe) and she decided to go hers. (Hello did someone forget that i am a gem with directions...Indiana remember!!!) When i got into town she was no where to be found. Then the hot guy that i was dancing with earlier (found out his name was Amar) was also heading to the ferry so we walked together. Steph then went past on a motor bike laughing so we all ended up getting on the boat ok. Except Carson...where is Carson??? Amar and i fell asleep
on the deck for about 1 1/2 hrs and Steph went downstairs, i still wasn't sure if Carson even got on!
Once back in Koh Tao i said bye to Amar and waited for Steph on the pier. I then saw Carson getting off and we then had to wait for Steph to eventually make her way off, not before she yells at us to "get on, get on!!!" This was the beginning of our walk home! She talked crap all the way and had Carson and i in stitches. She was walking behind us yelling at us to wait. Carson kept yelling at her that the dragons were going to get her and she needs to get to the next round!!! We couldn't stop laughing but Steph wasn't too happy about. We got our security stuff out of the locker and went straight to the room and put on our cosies. We all swum at the beach and it was so so great. A great way to start the day even though we hadn't been to bed yet. I then went to the pool and got some food while Carson and Steph went for a nap. Simon (one
of the pommies) then came for a swim also and we had a great chat. His mates Patrick and Lloyd then joined us and i spent the arvo in the pool swimming and talking. I got a 10mins nap in and then Carson came to join us. The 3 pommies were also heading to Koh Samui and we chatted about meeting up. We all decided that we wanted some westernised food and we all went out together. I was feeling pretty tired but started to drink again. Steph went to bed feeling sick while we hung around playing pool. They had some hilarious stories about their travels together throughout Thailand although they will not be repeated...We then went back to their bungalow and watched a movie on their laptop and then saw some of their photos and videos they had taken. I loved watching their videos of them mucking around on the 4-wheelers they hired like they were little kids who had never been on a bike before. Carson then went to bed and the 4 of us headed down to a beach side bar called Pure Bar for another drink. It was ultra hip with its huge bean bags
and it was so comfy. We then went to another place but by now i am really tired and feel like a zombie. I went to bed.
It was so crazy and the best party i have ever been too. Would do it all again in a heartbeat...
Worked out later that I HAD 2 HOURS SLEEP IN 40 HOURS. MAN!!!
