So this is really happening....

So I've started a blog, hopefully I wont sound like a pure douche during it but here goes.

This is probably the most interesting thing i ever do so I'll try and keep in touch and let people who want to know what I get up to this summer.
I have literally just pulled out of Newcastle Central and I this may be the most reliable internet connection I get for a while considering most of my time this summer will be spent up a mountain in Peru, (which is even more remote than up a tree in rosemount). I am absolutely buzzing about this elective as I think it has all hit me in the last hour and I have no one on the train to talk to about this. I apparently look like a german tourist today with all my bags and my gacky look. But lets be honest. I am gonna stick out this summer.

Plan in general is go to Trudies in london. Sleep. Go to Heathrow. Go to JFK, (New York), rest but try not to sleep and miss flight. Go to Lima. Go to Cusco. Have a generally good time, meeting people, being a tourist that can speak un poco espanol. some medicine should happen. Eoghan arrives. Happy days. Inca trail, lake tittywhatever. General fun times. Make our way up to fun places in Peru, i think Tumbas looks a good shout including some beach front hotels and kitesurfing, or normal surfing if i wuss out. Ecuador for a while. Then Lima, New York for a few days, then London. Phew... if you have lasted that long you must love me!!

May update and let you guys know how big heathrow actually is, apparently its huge. But anyone who is reading this and is dead jealous. If you want to do it. Just do it. I am so untravelled its hilarious but anyone can do it. I had more of a reason cause of this medical elective but there are ways and means for everyone to go travelling as E.C.Quigley says "Just Do It".
