This morning we went for a short trip into Paraguay, which is only 15km out of where we are staying. It is well known for its cheap duty free goods, so we were quite excited! It turned out to be not as cheap as we'd thought it would be, and because it was a Saturday it was insanely busy! So, we spent a couple of hours wandering around, bought a few lil things that we d broken or lost and some more of our "better than baileys" alcohol that wev been drinking! We almost all came back with a bottle each. $11.70US a bottle! Bargain! Then we got driven back into Brazil and to the bird park beside Foz de Iguacu falls. There were some amazing birds which came up really close to you. We saw tucans, flamingos, eagles etc as well as an anaconda and tarantulas!! They were such incredible colours but collectively really did make horrible noises!

Some of us then headed across to the fallson the Brasil side, which wasn't as good as the argentinian side but def well worth seeing still. We got a bit wet but nothing like last time and just did a walk around looking at the falls from diff angles! It rreally is an incredible place!

We then headed back to our hostel and got dressed for our Rafain show that started at 9! It was awesome. It was a buffet and a south american dance and acts show. The show was impressive and pretty funny but the food was to die for!! OMG I literally can't descible how amazing it was. I have never seen or eaten so much food in my life!! Every single kind of past, meat, salad, breads everything you could imagine in one hall on our plates! El and I had two full plates of dinner attempting tio tryevrything but fauiling cos there was just too much and we were already scoping out the incredible dessert!!! The desserthad about 15-20 diff plates of things to try and we attempted to have some of everything but literaly had 3 more we hadn't tried and were very close to the point of being sick!! It was all sooooo good! Dessert alone i had raspberry, coconut, passionfruit and mixed berry icecream, lemon tart, tiramisu, choc cake, strawberry mousse, strawberry cheesecake, passionfruit & choc pudding, pavlova, fresh fruit and jelly, and im sure there was more but I had eaten so much I was in a state of confusion!!! We then got dropped back to the hostel and literally rolled into bed!!

I'm following you guys by your blog.
Hi Elle and Rachel! Once again, welcome to Brasil with "S". Hehehe. Enjoy the food, the fauna and the flora. And the people as well. I really hope you guys have a great time there. Remember, if you want to visit any gymnasium there, tell me please and i'll try to make contact with them. In Rio, you can visit the CLUBE FLAMENGO. There are some gymnasts from the brasilian team trayning there. You also can talk with the coaches about me and tell them we are working in the same gym. It's just an idea. Have fun and enjoy Brasil. PS: Your photos are awesome.
