A quiet day in Santorini

This morning we had a relaxing breakfast followed by a walk up the hillside along from the Santorini Princess Hotel. We sat for a while on the wall in front of the church and took in the wonderful views.
We then went down to Thira for a late lunch and ate at the Parea Restaurant. I had a greek beef stew and the others had pork and potatoes.
Jan and I then went and shopped for more souveniers. My small carry-on bag is bursting with little trinkets that I have collected along our journey.
We drove back to the Hotel and had a quiet afternoon before going out to dinner at Maria's and Nikos' place. Jan and Mike were staying with Maria and Nikos last week and they very kindly invited us all to dinner.
We had a wonderful evening, lots of greek food, greek wine and lots of laughs. A fabulous evening which turned in to an early morning...LOL
I hope you are enjoying following us along on our wonderful journey. We feel truly blessed. We have had great weather and met some wonderful people. It has really been the 'trip of a lifetime'.
