leaving Dubai

Hello here we are again.
Sorry no photos yet but they will come. Not much time to do them as yet. Had a busy last day in Dubai. Ronald had the day of and took us to the old city of Dubai. That was very interesting how a city this size became so big from a small settlement. We also visited the Gold souke but did not buy anything there. Just a few small souvenirs. We are at the beginning and have a long time to go and the suitcases are getting heavy. We hope to have more time to talk at the next stop. Ronald took us to the Radisson Hotel for a smorges board. Thar was very nice. We stayed there a long time. On the way back we came across one of the oldest houses of Dubai. We had a look at that. We did get a cup of nice tea there, what was very nice. We had to sit on those big pillows. Coming down on them is okay but to get up is another thing. For us that is a real problem and will only go to turn side ways onto your knees and then try to get up. We will go out tonight and have a drink downstairs in the Hotel for it is earlier to bed. We have to get up at 3 o'clock a.m. to catch the flight. So this is it till we find another place where we can get onto the internet. Bye for now Liz & Allan
