Apartments on the Malecon rent for $1,000/minth 3 bedrooms.
Small apartment facing the malecon maybe $60,000 ??
A block back maybe $40,000.
$170,00 luxury 2,000 sq. feet facing the malecon (ocean).
Asking price, in newer good big buildings.

You have to have security 24x7. Strict worker protection laws, firing emplayee is very costly.

Maybe $15 Million in Vancouver, $25,000 here but for many it just isn't suitable. 5 minutes to towncenter by car. You need employees and they tend to steal. Secuestre= kidnapping is a potential problem (experienced by David a few years ago).

With all this security in mind David enjoys life and is a great upbeat guy.

A lot of people prefer a condo on the beach due to home ownership problems. I keep thinking...there has to be a way to own this without so much complications.

The owner of the first floor has 24x7 security and a dog I nicknamed Frenzy. Walk near the gate you will know why. Sonia has half the yard, a suite- ground floor and the top two floors.

I went for a jog this morning & caught up to Marino a Captain called Johnny. We jogged together for 3 minutes and had a great talk in spanish. Some difficulty but not so much cause the conversation to bog very often. He got us a drink from the triathlon tables.
