Indonesia part two:Bali, Lombok and Gili Trawangan

Well, our time in beautiful Indonesia has come to an end. We have spent the last two weeks exploring the beautiful tropical islands of Bali, Lombok and Gili Trawangan. For the most part, Bali and the Gili Islands are totally about tourism. All the shops offer the classic souvenirs and restaurants cater to western tastes. You have to search very hard to find anything truly local in these places. That being said, we did enjoy our R&R at all of these places, lots of sun, sand and sea. Lombok is a little less touristy, and we enjoyed a day in the country side, soaking up the culture.
We are off now to follow the trail of the head-hunters in Malaysian Borneo( hope we come back with ours!!!!
