So seven o’clock tomorrow we head off to Heathrow for a few months of sun, sea and suspicious Onion Bhajis. Naturally I’ve packed the essentials – passport, iPod, Pokémon Yellow – but by and large we’re travelling light. Most of my ridiculously large bag is taken up with suncream (£13 a bottle!) but seeing as how it’s currently 32 degrees in Goa, I guess it’ll be worth it. It’s going to be ‘drizzly’ in London this week according to the BBC, so enjoy that.

I’ll try and keep this short and sweet, but for anyone that doesn’t know (and there can’t be many because I haven’t shut up about it) we’re heading to India, Thailand, Bali and Australia. First up’s Delhi – but before that we’ll be popping in to Weatherspoons for brekkie and a pint. Start as you mean to go on...
