Update: blogging limit initiated

Right, so I know I haven't updated my blog for ages, but I have written most of it. I use my small HP netbook to type blog entries in my spare time... the thing is, I haven't really had any spare time lately. I've been sharing a room with Kelly for three weeks now, so whilst before, when I was alone I could write my blog before going to bed, now, Kelly and I chat and I don't really get my own quiet time as much.
I've decided not to write day by day anymore, as it's unrealistic at the moment. Maybe when I'm travelling on my own again, I'll spend the time doing it, but at the moment, there's too much going on. I'm either on the move on buses, trains or rickshaws, or staring at the stars with five other lovely people!
As I get the time and as and when I get access to the internet, I'll upload more blogs, photos and thoughts.
I am actually in a wifi zone at the moment, which is why I'm able to write this without having to rush off anywhere.
I'm in Fort Cochin in Kerala at a small homestay guesthouse called Bastian Homestay. It's lovely, clean and the people are friendly, but the wifi only works outside my room in what is essentially a conservatory and infested with mosquitoes. I'm sitting here with Maddy, and every second or so, one of us is batting a mosquito off our faces/legs/arms/ears even thought we're doused in insect repellant. It's amost like slow torture but we're both resigned to making use of this fucking rare wifi zone!!

Kochin is the bomb.
Fort Kochin was one of my favourite places I visted in India. Loved all the european influences, portugease, dutch, chinese (the fishing nets - not european and actually not chinese either). All that. I rode into a van's front right wheelarch on a moped while I was there. Well cool. Glad you're having a good time. Will write to you at length with actual news soon. I'm still unemployed, so there won't be all that much news. xxx Rory
