had a fab final night in oz - stayed in a gorgoues hotel in the Rocks right next to the harbour - rooftop pool & jacuzzi had views of the bridge, opera house and harbour - which was a fabulous start to our anniversary evening !!!! enjoyed a romantic meal on the harbourfront - carl was a little sweatheart all night - who would have thought it !!!!
anyway - we're now in NEW ZEALAND - how exciting !!!
Christchurch is very english, very cute and quite small but great atmosphere. Driving in from the airport reminded us very much of ireland - all very quaint little "bungalows" with beautiful mountain views - the bids would love it here ! in fact there's references to ireland everywhere - loads of fiddly diddly pubs. It's a shame we haven't got more time here but we've got 7/8 days to get to Auckland before our next flight. I'm a little nervous about my impending week ahead - the weather is considerably colder and wetter and I'm not sure I have the right attire for a campervan!!!!! felt like a right tramp last night being out on the town with no heels !!!!!

No doubt this will be edited but here goes - All my Christmases have come early - a nation that eats, sleeps rugby - bars that stay open till 6am- rugby shops on every corner- THE best sports bars you have ever seen - more home brewed beer to sample than you can shake a stick at (including apples!!) and oh did I mention the RUGBY!!!!!!! Over and out - nice talking with you.

The holiday continues to look fantastic and gald to hear that Carl was nice to you (for a change) on your anniversary - you never know it may become a habit. Keep up with the photo's and tour news.
