Today was our first Lord's Day of the new year and our last Lord's Day in this part of Tanzania. We chose to go to the Monduli congregation today. A few days ago the preacher there indicated he would like for us to come and say goodbye to the congregation. We gladly went there to see the brethren and bid them farewell. George preached the morning lesson. Afterward, an older man gave some parting words and then the congregation sang "God Be With You Till We Meet Again" in Swahili.

This evening we had one more bible study with our neighbors. It's a big tug on our hearts to leave them at this point. They are very attentive bible students and want more. We will do our best to hook them up with someone here to continue studying, and we have exchanged contact information. Please pray for them.

Our house is almost completely packed up. It's a mess! We have to navigating through a maze of boxes getting from one room to another. We will have plenty to do tomorrow, with last minute boxing up of dishes, linens, unhooking the washer and dryer, and other things that we've waited until the last possible minute to do. We have truck booked to come Tuesday to load it all up. If all goes well, we will hit the road Tuesday late afternoon/evening and probably drive all night. That will not be too easy, after loading a truck all day, but logistically speaking, that's the best. So, extra prayers on our behalf will be greatly appreciated this week.

With the beginning of a new year, we will have many other new beginnings. We are excited about what lies ahead for us and we are ready for the challenge.

We don't know how long it will take to be up and running internet wise, but we'll definitely be back in touch as soon as we are able to do so.

Your fellow workers in Christ,
George and Joy

Well your neighbors are not the only ones that will be missing the Jensen's. This writer is already missing you and what you have meant to the work of TZ 2000, Moshi, and the ACSOP. He wishes you good health, and all the love you can handle and the knowledge that as long as he has a roof you got one and as long as he has a piece of bread you're gonna have one too. Take care of your good selves and be careful on those roads. When you come South you better not forget the way to Blue Inn or I will hunt you down. God speed. just ken
