Me in the apartment
While Bram was at work, I decided to take pictures of the apartment. Hey Everybody! So here I am in the Hague in our new apartment. So far everything's going pretty okay. We're finally a little settled and staying in one place which is great. The kitchen is a good size and the bathroom is huge. The livingroom/bedroom is not so big but it's livable. The job hunt is still the major issue. I did however submit my resume to an international jobsearch agency and they sent me back a questionnaire. (www.octagon.nl) I filled out the questionnaire and now the next step is that they put it in their database and try to match me with a vacant position. I'm hoping that will be helpful but I will still continue to apply to various companies as well as go to the US Consulate in Amsterdam for advice. There is a US Embassy here in the Hague but for advice you must go to the US Consulate. I just hope it's not like the DMV 😉.
Anyway in more fun news, Saturday is Queen's Day which is a huge holiday here in the Netherlands. It celebrates the Queen's birthday and everyone wears orange (even though it's not this Queen's birthday). So there will be

While Bram was at work, I decided to take pictures of the apartment. a big party/festival throughout the whole country and especially in Amsterdam and the Hague. Bram's family is coming to stay with us for the night so that they can celebrate Queen's Day here by the ocean and by the Queen! So that should be fun! I'll write more soon.

This is a great idea! Please post lots of pictures because I cannot look at the pictures that you email at work (they are blocked) but I can access this website!! By the way...your bangs look amazing:) Love them! Your apartment is also very cute.
