For Harriet
hahahahahaha inside joke April 21st
Where did I leave off? Oh yeah it’s our last day in NY so we had to go check out the infamous Canal St. This is what you would call the discount area of Manhattan. Can’t afford that $10 000 purse that you really want? They can hook you up with a knock off for about $30. Nancy picked up what would have been about $4000 in purses for about $50. Not a bad deal if you ask me. Once we were done there we had already checked out of the hotel and it was time to start making it back. Combining my amazing driving skills and Nancy’s navigational skills we got that little Pontiac Pursuit out of that town in record time. Made one little pit stop to get some snacks, nothing like live bait and ammo for lunch eh Nancy?
We had been eating out every night there and Nancy kept going on about how good of a cook Mo is so he agreed to make us burgers that night and I have to say that I was amazingly impressed. Nancy sure did find herself a good one there. Nancy and Erika made some Tempura and
Best Tour Guide Ever
Even with short hair shes pretty cute eh guys? Just dont ask her for directions! although the box was in French they did a damn good job!!

Nancy just found out that Mo had a family emergency so she was taking off so it was up to Erika to show me around Montreal. It was entertaining as heck. She makes a wonderful tour guide. If the medicine game doesn’t work out for you Erika I’m sure tourism Montreal will have a job lined up for you. I had told myself that it wasn’t a true trip to Montreal without trying the poutine so we headed off to this small little cafe that had about 30 different types of poutine. I had the T-rex with sausage, steak, bacon and wieners and Erika had the one with chicken and peas on it, don’t ask. We ended up checking out the Oratory on Mt Royal and this was one heck of a church, I guess this is where Celine Dion got married, so you know it’s got to be good. Story goes that if you walk up the stairs to the church on your knees all of your sins will be forgiven but there are pretty hard, there are a ton of them and I
Mikka the sinner
REPENT LITTLE MIKKA, you have no idea what you are in for. had just washed my pants so I guess I will have to worry about salvation at a later date. Little Mikka needed a little bit of a soul cleansing so with a little help from Erika he gave it a shot. If only he knew what he was getting into he would have waited till after Amsterdam to look for forgiveness from above. After little Mikka got his absolution we headed over to the Montreal cemetery for a grim little detour, it’s insane how big this thing is! It’s on the side of the mountain and it just goes and goes and goes! After that is when the fun really began. Turns out that little Ms Tour Guide didn’t really know her way around the town that well so I got an amazingly long driving tour of Montreal. After about an hour of driving around in circles we found our way back home but don’t worry Erika, you company made it all worth while :-) Nice quiet night in with a couple of movies and a bite to eat at a Mexican restaurant after that and it was all good.

Travelin day today. Packed all my stuff
What are the odds?
Bumped into Trary of all people in downtown Toronto!! up and Nancy took me down to the train station. I’m really glad I got to see her, I had a really good time in Montreal and I owe it all to you Nancy! Oh yeah and for those that are wondering, SHE LOOKS AMAZING!! Hopped on the train to Toronto and wow was that long and boring. Looking back on it I should have flown. So I had about 3 hours to kill before meeting up with Katie and ended up bumping into Trary of all people! Holy crap was that a shock! Once we found Katie we went down to Gretzkys restaurant for a quick bite to eat and ended up with the largest slice of cake that I have ever seen! $10 and worth every dollar. We only ate about a third of it so Katies roommates must love us right now. It was great getting to spend some time with Katie, would have been nice to have a day or so but I guess a couple of hours will have to do. Oh yeah and as always SHE LOOKS AMAZING!
Out to the airport where I met a new friend at the pub at our
Katie and the cake
What the heck was Wayne thinking when he thought this cake up? gate, Jeffery Walpole. We started talking hockey then next thing you know he buys me a drink, and before anyone screams creepy the guy was married and just a really nice guy. Somehow he scammed his company into paying for him to go out there and party. I think I’m in the wrong field. After all that drinking you would have thought that I would sleep like a baby on the plane right? WRONG! 6 1/2 hours of tossing and turning in the smallest most cramped airline seat ever. Screw the death penalty I say if we used that as a method of punishment it would cut the crime rate in half. First impression of London? Expensive. 550ml bottle of pop? $2.50. Fast food lunch? $10. Gas is $2/litre no wonder all I see on the roads are Smart cars and Rolls Royce’s. If you can afford to drive in London you can afford at least a BMW. Met up with the Steve and he is just as I remember him. I was expecting an accent but there isn’t really one there. He’s finally making his living acting and I don’t think he could be happier. Commercials, extra work, TV
The seat was fine for Mikka
If only the seat fit me like this. shows you name it this guy seems to be doing it. Jet lag really started kicking in around 730 so it was a pretty early night.

7am bright eyed and bushy tailed so it’s off to do some touristy crap while Steve works. I learned what happens when you get on the right bus going the wrong direction today. I got to see a lot of London but not what I had planned. Eventually ended up in downtown London and it is just as I remember it. Trafalgar Square, down through St James Park and bumped into Downing St and then Buckingham Palace. As I was walking towards the Palace I was wondering how the Queen comes and goes and as if on queue a helicopter flies overhead and lands right behind the palace. From there down through another park to the Princess Di Memorial Fountain. Really interesting sight, I wonder if I were born Prince of Wales what my Memorial Fountain would look like? I’m thinking that it would have something to do with cleavage. Couple of wrong busses/directions later I finally made it back to Steve’s place around 9pm and as soon as I got
Steve met Little Mikka
AWWWWWW you just want to hug them both. there we headed off to this invitation only CD release party for a friend of a friend of a friend kind of thing. Initially we were told free drinks and that just started the night off great but when we got there we found out that it wasn’t free drinks and that all they were selling was $13 doubles, OUCH. Even though the drinks were pricy there were some burlesque dancers that had been hired to walk around in barely anything and dance in the sexiest ways possible so that was the one good thing about it. Steve seems to be quite the drinker now and he’s quite the ladies man, just ask Mimi. That night ended about 5am in a backyard with a coffin and some poppizza (don’t ask) so I’m feeling a bit rough today. Tomorrow the alarm clock is getting set so keep an eye out for some good touristy pictures.
