Well I'm writing this the night before I work my last ever shift at The Railway Tavern. Feels very weird to be saying that. I remember being terrified of this place and some of the people here the first day I arrived. Now i've become such good friends with all of them that as much as I want to go it will still be hard to go and even harder to say goodbye to some people. I've already had to say quite a few goodbyes as it is Christmas and people have already left town to go to Perth or else where. A few people will still be here tomorrow. I'm getting ok with goodbyes in the hopes that it's not forever.

Ben, the guy living in the pub is leaving to go to Thailand with his family for christmas in the morning. I'm going to drive him to the train station. He has really been like a brother to me here. From the day that he arrived here we got along like siblings haha. He's a good bloke and i'll really miss him.

Most of the AMMS boys are gone at the moment. 2 of them had been let go as I wrote in my last blog and Paddy the irishman went home for christmas so we had a party for him on Friday night. He is one of my fav boys as well. Such an awesome decent guy. And Dennis quite to go back home to Adelaide. Kylie gave me a little stuffed koala and he got to enjoy the party.

THe John Holland boys (they work on the railways here) have started coming up to our pub instead of the Club because they have more fun so they were all up here on Friday night as well. It was insanely busy. I had a great night. I jumped behind the bar a bit to help the girls when I could. There is one John Holland boy I love. His name is Hips and he is like a 6'5 Maori guy. Such a giant sweetheart and has such good manners even when he's drunk haha. I had a blast dancing with him.

i can't believe how close i've come to some of these people. Kylie is like my best friend, I have such a good laugh with her and she just gets me. Her little boy Jayden is one of the cutest kids ever. And all the AMMS boys, I hate to admit how much I will miss all of them. They really have made my time here in Southern Cross what it was.

Well, my next blog will be from Kambalda at christmas! Can't wait to see some family again and mostly just get out of SX. Not that i'm counting or anything but 35 more days until I see my parents. I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!
