Yep, thats right - we have hired a camper van! And we're driving round the island for 6 days and sleeping in the camper! It was the cheapest way to see the island and the only way we could see everything we wanted to in the time that we have so that's what we've decided to do! Now, I'm sure you're all thinking that I have only had my licence for a bit and it may not be wise to drive in another country, let alone in a camper van but don't worry, Patrice will do most of the driving and I'll only do the long quiet roads after Patrice has approved my driving!

Got to New Zealand this morning and it feels like England - Christchurch is just like Canterbury way - its really strange, and its even raining!
Spent our last few days in Australia in Byron Bay and had a really good time just chilling out. We really enjoyed ourselves there and had some cool roomies which is always good - one of them was even taking a career break from Price Waterhouse Coopers so Patrice has her first contact when she starts working - networking while travelling! Went out on our second night and had a really good night - spent most of the night in Cheeky Monkeys which is a club where you all dance on the tables - it was so much fun - they should def open one in England! Also did a beading workshop and a bead shops where you can make your own jewelery which was loads of fun. Oh yeah, and we did a surfing lesson! Had the worst teacher in the world - did it with Kool Katz, who really werent cool in the slightest - it took me a while to get it and he was getting really annoyed with me instead of helping but I showed him and stood up in the end and even caught my own waves!

Anyway, next entry will be about the adventures of the camper van!
