View from the Courtyard
Well haven't updated the blog for a while, but I have just finished 2 weeks of Relaxing next to the beach. I went to two places Buzios and Florianopolis.

Buzios

Description: Byron Bay of Brazil 2 hours north of Rio on the Coast.

Wow Buzios is a must for anyone doing the north of Brazil. It is paradise and the hostel we stayed really topped it off. Literelly our courtyard where we ate breakfast everyway looked onto the beach. Couldn't ask for anything better. Didn't really do much here except for relax, swim and get a little sun.

Florianopolis

Description: 18hrs (bus ride) south of Rio on the Coast

I loved Flori not for the place but for the place we stayed (Backpackers ShareHouse) and the people we met. The weather wasnt the greatest but it just shows you while on tour its the people you meet which make the experience what it is. Firstly the Hostel and its staff, they are the most welcoming people I have come accross. They made it feel that this was home, even cooking and eating dinner with us on a number of occasions. The hostel has the slogan "one more night" and this was true for us and everyone we met at the hostel. We booked in for 2 nights and stayed 7 nights. It was still hard to leave then.

The other people that made the week were the Irish guys (Matt, Mark and Adam) we met and drank with every night. Every night we'd sit down for a few drinking and would drink into the early hours of the morning. We became great friends with these guys and I hope to visit them next year in Belfast for Saint Patty's day.

I am currently now in Foz Do Igacu and went to the Igassu falls which I will update in my next post..

Happy reading.
