had a nice uneventful flight to Ottawa. The first leg to Calgary was fabulous. Clear blue skies all the way. I don't recall ever seeing the ground so clearly and cloud free on a flight before. And of course my camera was inaccessible in my backpack. The next flight I was over the wing and it was cloudy to boot. Ottawa is in the middle of a sweltering heat wave, I told Larry that he might find me asleep on the basement floor in the morning. I remember flying, being so bored and if you were lucky you a portable tape player and enough batteries to last the trip. NOW you have T.V. movies and music in the back of the seat in front of you, an Itouch and Zune and laptop with another 500 hours worth of entertainment in the back pack. Wow, I think I just dated myself.

Roasting in Errington
You aren't the only one roasting in a heatwave. We are in the high 20's here at the base of Arrowsmith and it was still 25 degrees when I headed off to bed lastnight. I am sure we will be in the 30's today and all week by the look of the weather report. Glad your flight went uneventfully. Have fun and enjoy the travelling freedom.
