Christopher and Julia invited us into their home for supper before Julia left.
It almost time! Monday evening we'll be getting on the big bird and begin our 27 hour trip to the U.S. Suitcases are just about packed and last minute odd jobs are being checked off the list. We'll keep on working until time to drive to the airport; there's so much to do. We ask for your prayers as we travel.

Here's a review of our last few weeks:

May 30, June 6, 13, and 20 we attended the congregation in Monduli. George used the Bible class time to introduce his personal evangelism booklet and gave some instruction to the congregation concerning how to be more effective in their outreach efforts. Each member present received a copy, and we also left a bundle with them. We enjoyed our time with them very much; they are a great group of Christians.

June 14: We said goodbye to Julia and she headed back to the states, Oklahoma to be specific. She's been taking care of some last minute wedding preparations, and of course, enjoying some time with her fiance.

June 25: Joy's birthday, but we celebrated a couple days early, since George needed to be out of town. Homemade maple ice cream - yum!

June 24-26: George traveled to Karatu, to assist in their campaign. He assisted with evangelistic outreach during the morning hours, and each afternoon preached for their gospel meeting.

June 27: We worshiped with the Monduli Juu congregation, which is a new work. George was able to introduce his evangelism booklet during Bible class, and also had the opportunity to preach. We left a bundle of evangelism workbooks with them. We really enjoyed our Sunday with this group; though they are a small group, they were friendly. They are predominantly Massai, and so in addition to the usual Swahili songs, they sang a song in Massai. We hope to visit with them some more upon our return to Tanzania.

Our last week in Tanzania has been spent running many errands and taking care of the many details that need to be set in order before leaving for such an extended amount of time. In addition to preparing things for our absence here, we've also spent a lot of time preparing for our stateside time - George has been working on a power point presentation, Joy has been studying for lessons she will deliver

for various ladies classes. Luke has been cramming to get his online college work finished before we leave, so that he doesn't have to carry all those books around.

Our next post will come from the U.S. We will get our cell phones in service as soon as possible, so if you would like to have our phone number, send us a message and we'll give you that information privately.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you sometime during the next three months. We are excited!!

Love,
the Jensens

See you in the US?
Hey Jensens, I don't think I had told you all yet that Chantelle and I are going to the US at the end of July. Where all will you all be going? Would love to catch up with you sometime and introduce you to my wife! I don't think you've met her even though George has been to Australia. God bless you all! With Love, Patrick Swayne
