Well, this is it. The adventure is ending and it feels as though it had only just begun. I have many memories to share and treasure for the rest of my life. I have been really grateful to have had the opportunity to visit the countries I did and meet some amazing people along the way. It has been an interesting two months with some ups and downs but certainly a worthwhile experience which I highly recommend to everyone. I end my travels in Palolem a beach in the sounthern state of Goa. It has been amazing weather and I have really taken the time to do absolutely nothing. For those of you who know me well, this is not like me. I have not even done any exercise (GASP!). I know, hard to believe. The real world hits me again on Monday. Soon I will be back home, back to work, back with friends and family... and of course, back to the gym. Nothing much to report in terms of exciting news though on the beach here. I have literally been eating, drinking, sleeping and burning (no tanning, just burning). Maybe it will turn into a tan by the time I get home. Steph and I are staying in an elevated hut on the beach. We do have some beach friends greeting us during the evening (AKA, a rat) but otherwise, no wildlife causing any troubles. We also have a man who climbs the coconut tree attached to our hut at 8AM every morning. It is like our own personal alarm clock only it feels a little like an earthquake! Well, the first time anyway, now we know that it is him. Yesterday, we spent the day sitting in the restaurant (from 8 am to 7PM) drinking beer with a couple of people we had met. We did not budge at all the entire day! Felt great bu, no more beer! Especially not the cheap kind! Well, that is it. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
