Answers to Aunt Lori´s comment and Jeri´s comment.

We expect about 500 people to watch the parade and hang out in the non-catholic, evangelical, church during the wedding. We have invited about 160 people and have ordered 175 plates for the private reception. Thank you for the thoughts!

Jeri! Yes, call and see if there are rooms at Colonial first and then check out Panamericano 2nd.

I am exhaaaaausted. I came into Estelí to get stuff done. First went directly to Doña Moncha´s to give her one of the USA bags that Mom sent me, and to finally give her a wedding invite and see how many people will be coming. I only stayed for like an hour, but it was going on noon by the time I got back into Estelí.

Went to the office to drop off paperwork and then ran into Erin on the street, which is always awesome. Later ran into Rebe from Moncha´s and that was fun, too. Always cool to run into people you know. Doesn´t happen too often around here.

Went to Creaciones Mercy where my wedding dress, etc, is being made. My crown and veil are made and the pillows for harras and rings. I fitted the dress so she knew where to put the zipper, then I went to buy a strapless bra. I hate strapless bras. They just don´t do a damn thing for me.

My dress is beautiful and simple, just like I wanted it! I went and bought jewelry (pearls) to go with the dress, since the detail of the dress has little pearls. I also bought some of the smaller invites for other people and 10 yards of ribbon for whatever and a wedding album. I wasn´t planning on the wedding album or the ribbon, but throughout the day I found them and feel good about buying both.

But now it´s 5pm and I am wiped out.

So the things that are left are to find SANDALS for the wedding, to get a PEDICURE, and to find a FLOWER GIRL BASKET and real FLOWERS for the flower girl and for my BOUQUET. For the flower girl, they might not actually be real flowers, but for my bouquet we have to go to Ocotal like the day before to get real cala lillies.

The good thing is that I found a shop and they would make a great flower girl basket within a day for ten bucks. And this is totally doable when my family and Arielle are visiting and we are checking out Esteli. Not too worried about that. And I was just too damn tired to acccctually look for sandals. I have an idea of what I want. Went to Payless - I know. Payless?! Not because I thought I could find anything but because it was nice to be in a large store where things are arranged by size and you can just look and not be hounded.

Okay I am going to make some phone calls home and answer some emails and text Lenin - he´s at work tonight - and then I am going to have some dinner, some Gatorade, and probably a beer. And go to bed.
