We are celebrating our recent marriage in our home town of LeClaire. The muggy air and smell of the river lets us feel like kids. We are preparing for our trip west and plan to hit the road on Wednesday.--JD

Oh my goodness! You can't even believe the generosity that comes to you when you are married from the loveliest people! We're staying in a "Whirlpool Suite" for the past 2 nights plus tonight for free (thanks Katie, Ron, and Wanda). Lots of pictures from our hotel deck of the river--just figuring out this sweet camera that our neighbor Chris lent us. Had a smorgasbord of Happy Joe's Pizza here in Le Claire--cheese sticks, barbecue chicken, pepperoni, the "Brad" (sausage, mushroom, Canadian bacon), and of course, Taco Joe! ZD

Now to top it off-some Gram pie. mmm-Apple.-JD
