The auction is now closed......................and the final bid of £66 was made by David Penfold. Thank you so much and to all those who also bid for Shrek. Shrek and his photos will soon be off to a new home with tales to tell of his travels. David while you await his arrival there is a nice picture of him in The Sun today in the football pull out! He too has World Cup fever.
It is great that the blog and Shrek travelling Corfu has raised much needed funds for Corfu Donkey Rescue.

walking the trail all over again
We returned from Corfu on the 19th of June after walking The Trail. Reading your blog brought it all back again. We had no rain at all during our stay. Found the whole thing an incredible experience and would recommend it to anyone who shows the slightest interest. We walked much longer than the estimated times stated, got lost on more than a few occasions, bitten to smithereens on the plateau when we were heading for the watertank (your blog made me laugh about it but it wasn't funny at the time!). You walked the trail before us as Anna told us about you spotting the martin! And we didn't meet a soul doing the trail. Nice pictures as well.
