American Flag Phnom Penh, Cambodia
This is across from the famous FCC in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We arrived in Phnom Penh exhausted but relieved to be off of an airplane. Our friend Sam picked us up at the airport-wonderful to see him. Hot here! 31 degrees C; translated-HOT.
Settled in at River Star Hotel and made plans for accomodation and travel for the next two weeks. We ate a wonderful lunch at Friends Restaurant, a non-profit organization that helps children and young adults in prostitution and drugs get out by training and working in the restaurant. We had some drinks at California 2, a bar that is owned by a man from California-his parents live at Watt and Marconi. 😊
Woke up this morning to have breakfast and watched as a man walked his elephant down the street, monks packed into tuk-tuks, and young girls delivering fresh baguettes to restaurants on mopeds.
Had a lovely conversation with Ashil from Nairobi, a student traveling with three friends through southeast asia-we wish them all happy travels!
Off for the day.

Mr. and Ms Friendship
It seems like you are making friends from all over the world. That is very interesting getting to know people from different countries. Go to different places. I only get to explore them through books, the National Geographic Channel and perhaps the internet. And I am happy for both of because you have a chance to experience the whole thing. Please keep sharing your amazing stories. I'll try to keep up because I know there will be more to come. Enjoy!
