I just thought I'd see if this old thing would still start up alright before I take her on the road again. If you are reading this because you got an email as a result of an old subscription to the blog, now is your chance to say 'I hardly remember this guy, I don't care where he's going next' and unsubscribe.

If you are reading this blog for the first time - welcome! Here is where I keep my friends, family and various random internet readers up to date on my whereabouts while I travel. I update when I can, with photos when possible or even videos when possible, wherever I find a good, cheap internet cafe. Thanks to a gracious graduation gift from my parents, I've got a new camera so you can look forward to better photos and videos with sound. Comments, messages are always welcome - I get excited to know people actually read my rants.

I'll be leaving in in a week and a half for Lima, Peru and I'll be followed two weeks later by girlfriend and travel partner (Sara) and we'll backpack, swim, horse-ride, bike and trek our way through Peru and Ecaudor until our return to the states on August 1st.

You can subscribe to the blog and get each new post as an email, otherwise you can just check back frequently to see if I've been able to update.
