A weekend in Sydney Day 1

On Sunday Steve and I packed a picnic lunch and headed off to West Head in the Ku-rin-gai Chase National Park, at the mouth of the Hawkesbury River.
It was a fabulous day, and the views spectacular.

View to Barrenjoey Lighthouse

The strip of land to the right of Barrenjoey is Palm Beach where they film the TV soapie "Home and Away"

Very friendly!

A stunt plane flew over and entertained us all for about a half an hour.
