well last night fairly early night ended about 2am. I went to the hostel's bar and had a few beers and several shots with a couple of people who worked there. I managed to have a fairly sensible conversation about footie with two americans.

I managed to be up and ready to leave about 9ish. couldnt work out what tram to get so ended up walking to the station. next time i go away im getting a bag with wheels. I was a bit hungover, so was not at all a happy bunny. I ended up having to talk to 3 cashiers to get my ticket sorted. the trains over here are so comfy, you get loads of leg room. most of the polish countryside passed me by because I was asleep, but the bits I did see were pretty and snowy.

So I got to warsaw about 1ish. Warsaw in poland isnt warsaw so I was worried for a while I was in the wrong city till I saw a street that matched my map. I decided for some stupid reason that walking to the hostel with a hangover and a heavy bag was a good idea. I think its fair to say at this point I wasn't liking the concept of Warsaw. I gave up about half way and jumped a taxi and after lots of pointing at the map with the taxi driver I got here.

First impression of the hostel is that its nice, the beds could be comfier though. I felt a bit sorry for the staff trying to welcome me when I was dying of a hangover and just wanted to lie down. Once I got to my room I did have a lie down for half an hour and I feel much less hungover, still headachy though.

So Im going to hang around here for a couple of hours then go have a wander round for a bit then get a mcdonalds 😊

The plan for tomorrow is to get a Warsaw card and then go to the places that are free with that. Then the day after Im going to the zoo.

You can get hang over in Liverpool any time you fancy - did I say 'can' I should have said - frequently 'do'. Spend your time taking in the delights of Poland rather than supping it dry of all it's ale!! We're just back after a walk to the Fulwood Arms. Missed you. Hugs ..Jan..
