I'm still in sunny Birmingham at the moment, and making some final preparations for flying on Thursday morning. I reckon I've got most things ready, but I'm sure to have overlooked something massive.
Although this is likely to change dramatically, my rough itinery is as follows:
- 24th March: arrive in Bangkok
- Up to 2 months around Southern Thailand
- 23rd April at the latest, Cambodia for two to three weeks
- Early to mid May: Southern Vietnam, moving North for around 6 weeks.
- Late June/early July: Loas for a few weeks
- 23rd July at the earliest, Northern Thailand, moving back to Bangkok
- 22nd August: Fly home
It'll be interesting to see how accurate this turns out to be, but I'm hoping to stay pretty flexible (however the plan so far has been determined mainly by Visas).
I'm hoping to be able to update this as often as possible (and get a few photos on here) instead of sending group e-mails, but if anyone wants to e-mail me then I'll reply to them personally as well.

Progress
I can add to Jon's progress report. He stopped over at mine on route to Heathrow. He had his colonial style biege trousers on ready for travel (didn't go too well in Kilburn on a cold night, got some abuse in an Irish pub) I have no idea if he made his flight in time, as I was in bed. Over to you J
