Sorry it is taking me so long to write, but getting time on the computers is hard. But I am going to try and tell you everything that has been going on as fast as I can lol.

Of course leaving the states had to be the biggest problem so far, our flight out of SF was of course delayed because of weather (why I choose to fly out of there I still don't know). When we finally got to LA we had 15 minutes to get to our connecting flight, in regards to our connecting flight the pilot said "ya your probably not going to make it." Rochelle and I ran as fast as we possibly could in flip flops and with our bags to the other terminal and made it right when they were closing the gate. When they decided to still let us in I of course couldn't find my passport, then my visa didn't go through (I spelled my name wrong 😞) but thank god everyone really helped us out and we made it on the plane. The airplane was awesome!!! I am never seen a plane that big, the food was great (3 different meals in all), and 5 movies were shown.

24 hours later we arrived in Melbourne and our hostel is actually really nice. I am still getting used to the mixed dorm bunk beds and the communal bathrooms but so far so good. I love Melbourne, if I decide not to leave Australia it will definately be for this place. The feeling reminds me a lot of OB but with hotter guys and more white sand. The only downside so far in Australia is the prices of everything! I am still shocked. Average beer at a dive bar is $8, cocktails $10-15 and food ranges from $15-25. Luckily our hostel has a kitchen so we have been able to make some food, though I hate it because I feel like I have to wash the dishes like 10 times before I use them lol.

Yesterday we drove an hour and a half to this surfers beach which was amazing. It was nice to be able to get out of the tourist areas and see more of the countryside. I am really excited for the schedule today we are going out to Phillips Island to see the wild animal park and the furry penguin parade (at sunset all the penguins leave the ocean to mate/sleep up on the beach so you watch hundreds of them get out of the water).

Lastly in 3 hours the Superbowl will br starting, we found a TV to watch it so I am very excited. All I have left to say is GO SAINTS.
