PackedPackedPacked

bags are packed and we are ready to go.....
I am getting things in order and getting bags packed as we are off in one week to build stoves in Guatemala. Due to new security regulations packing in a bit different. We are travelling Air Mexicana and are allowed one carry on piece of luggage and on checked piece of 50lbs each. My sleeping bag will take up more space than I want to give up really, but it is essential. Travelling lightly as we will be out building stoves most of the time so there is no real need for a dress I suppose.
I am looking forward to this trip, my second to Guatemala, as it has a purpose and I feel strongly that we will be doing good for the world in general.
The stoves which are built by the stove project not only improve the quality of life of the family who receive it, but also cuts down on the wood they burn to prepare meals and therefore is better for the environment over all.
I hope to be able to update this blog frequently and add pictures as well, so that I can stay in touch with family and friends and keep them imformed as to what is happening in my life.
