lost in Nadi
Bula!

We left Nadi last week, got on a huge boat (never thought i'd be on a boat) and headed north towards the Yasawa island range. We started fairly high and worked our way down (too many names to list but we stayed at 5 islands total). Every island had it's own unique spin on things and no 2 were alike. Some had electricity and some didn't. We can tell you that NONE had a/c or fans though ... not that we're complaining ... 😊 The water was crystal clear and just right for cooling off. We did some snorkeling just off the coast which had some pretty amazing coral and fish, and Karen even saw a big sword fish! Tons of colourful finding Nemo fish to be seen though (but not actually that type). We were sad to leave the Yasawas, but happy to come back to the pool in Nadi.

The weather has basically been sunny, clear and approximately 35 degrees everyday, plus humidity! We've been meeting lots of cool people from all over the world, but most often Germany and the UK. Only one Canadian so far :-(

We leave for New Zealand on Sunday, and while we're sad to leave Fiji, we can't wait for the next few adventures! Pictures to follow when we find some internet capable of it :-)

LIFE is GOOD!!
So glad to hear you guys are having fun. GREAT PICTURES, BTW!! You guys look amazing when you're enjoying yourselves. Fiji will be a tough act to follow but I'm sure you are both excited to "press forward" and see what else is in store for you. New Zealand and Australia are extremely unique so I am told. I can only imagine wearing a bathing suit outside in January. Lots of sunshine by the looks of those "burns" you have. Glad to hear you are both healthy and there are no colds, sore throats, ear aches, etc. Look after each other and stay safe. Love, pa

KIWI heaven....
...ok, looks like you are getting my blogs. Sitting here at work (0800 hrs) and it's 5Celcius degrees outside. A mild spell for two days and the snow is disappearing slowly. Guess there's none there, eh? hahaha. NZ is a very unique spot I am told and I have pictures of it up on my terminal right now. Let us know (only if and when you get some time) what you are doing and a few more pictures if not too much trouble. Were over to Durham on the w/e and got a bit more work done. Very relaxing though. You plan on any snorkling in NewZealand??

Winter Blahs....
It's Tuesday, middle of the winter, I'm at work, 0800 hrs, snowing lightly outside, Elvis and Michael Jackson are still dead, etc, etc, etc. Nothing new here BUT lots going on in NZ by the sounds of your e-mail. Surfing (I've never done that) and lots of warm weather. You guys please keep greasing up with the sun screen because you don't want a serious burn to sideline you for a few days. We're all glad to hear you are N-joying yourselves. (As if you wouldn't be, eh??) We are going down to Dave/Lynne's on Sat, Feb 06.
