It's getting cooler in the mornings. A couple of days ago I saw a green parrot sitting with a heap of pigeons on the side of a building. So lovely. Like someone had coloured in one of the birds from a black and white print.

The sunflowers are coming out, kind of ironic for this time of year, mid-winter! They look amazing. Saw a HUGE eagle yesterday, circling high above. The pigeons and other smaller birds were going crazy swooping around it and doing high and low dives in their ‘safety in numbers’ groups.

The sunsets have also been extra specky! Just now there were straight lines of clouds… while the wind was blowing from the side direction, the lines were keeping their straightness! It is hard to capture the colours and awesomeness of it... It did remind me of a childhood song, Parallel Lines. (Parallel lines, they go up, they go down, they never really touch, they just... fall apart at the seams... those parallel lines....). Just another of the Jadan ironies!

Hello Kath
Hello Kath, thank you for your wonderful blog entries. I have just made the move from Canberra to Alice Springs, which has been emotionally traumatic (more so than I thought it would be). In any case Alice seems to be a friendly town with alot to do. I hope to go to yoga classes next week (everything here starts in Feb) and see if I can't start to make connections with the yoga community here. In the meantime I shall continue to enjoy your inspirations. I have joined Facebook, and have invited you (I think it is you), to be a friend. All the very best, Marg.
