Near La Ceiba on the northern coast of Honduras, we went out into the jungle to Jungle River Lodge. Really nice hotel/hostel/tour company way out in the boonies. We did a water water rafting course for a couple hours on the Rio Cangrejal with two local guides - Johnny and Darwin. Most of the course was class 1-3 rapids but some were class 4. We both fell out/ were pushed out a couple times and had fun speaking Spanglish with the two guys. Did some “surfing” where we would paddle the raft against the current into the rapid and got gushed with water.
Afterwards, jumped off a rock way above the river - scaaary! Had one of the workers videotape us and I think he got annoyed because we took so long to jump.
