On Monday morning Steve and I set off for Canberra. We had a good trip down and arrived late in the afternoon. We stayed at the Canberra Motor Village. The caravan park was a bit like a parking lot, no trees or views, but it was close to my niece's place and handy to the city of Canberra. We settled in and then went to visit Steve's brother and his family.
On Tuesday morning we drove into the City and visited Lake Burleigh Griffin. In the afternoon we drove down to the Cotter River - a place I frequented often as a child. It is beautiful down by the River. There are lots of walking tracks and barbeque areas.
That evening we were invited to Darren and Katrina's for dinner. (Trini is Pat's daughter) Katrina's husband cooked us a lovely barbeque and we caught up with their two gorgeous girls, Caiti and Beth.
