Up bright and early once more it was off to find the bus stop to head south to the beautiful Cesky Krumlov. We managed to score a seat on the student bus and our tickets cost us only 4 euro...what a score. When we arrived to our amazement it was snowing. It only took us a quick 20 mins to walk to where we were staying, the Pension Adalbert....which was only 100 metres from old town square and was so amazing and the staff super friendly. After unloading our gear and grabbing our gloves and beanies we took to the many little cobbled streets that surrounded us. This place is truely spectacular and their were little eateries tucked away in alleys everywhere. Upon recommendation from the pension owners we headed to The Dungeon for tea.....Now talk about a medevil place. The food was cooked on an open fire, the atmosphere amazing and the food spectacular. We ate garlic soup straight from a cob loaf, Andy enjoyed the most succulent Turkey breast he has had to date, and Jen ate a perfectly cooked steak. All that coupled with some fine wine and some local beer and it was by far the best meal we had experienced thus far. Next day we took to the cobbled streets again, and again it was snowing gracefully upon us. We headed to Tesco of all places to try and grab some cheap absinth but had no luck. It was then a chilly but beautiful 30 min walk back into town, but we were already prepared with beanies and scarfs. When we got back we messaged our friends Ola and Sylvia that we had met on the Italian Adventure and met up for some dinner. Well Dinner soon turned to bars and cocktails and then soon turned to Flamming Absinth shoots. After a few too many....again....it was too the streets for some snow eating before making our way home. The next morning Andy woke a little crook and had developed a bad chest and cold....damn snow eating comp....we met up with Sylvia and Ola for some lunch, before heading to check out the castle and then some more exploring.....you can never tire of this place. Before we knew it it was tea time again so we headed for a little place by the river. We ordered our meals and out came the biggest plates we had ever seen full of chips and chicken and all sorts of yummies. Best still it was dirt cheap a and tasted beautiful. It was then back to the Pension to catch up on some slack of sleep from the night before.
