Two little things about Kyoto that annoy me.
First, I still haven't finished writing about my visit there two weeks ago, and now another amazing time we have this week that I need to package into a journal.
Second, even though my Kyoto visits are always short and the number of my Kyoto photos are only fractions of all photos on a blog entry, they almost occupy my entire first page photo display.
That basically sums up my Kyoto experience. Always pleasant and just that outstandingly picturesque. This time I met up with my roomie Adina with her friends to explore Kyomizudera. It took us forever to get there from Kyoto Station. ^^ Lunch and snacks time and food samplings dragged down our paces. We proudly tasted Kyoto specialties without a sense of time. Priceless. That allowed us to reach Kyomizudera by sunset. ^^ And WOW! Gorgeous!! Let my photos do it justice. The trees are starting to show the change of season. I sure will come back often to see the leaves taking a more dramatic red dye.
I also went to Osaka Port with ten other senseis from my school and we had a wicked
field work study around the Port. The social studies sensei explained the history of Osaka port of when Japan was at wars and it was thoughts-evoking. But due to my understanding after the translations from my JTEs is no longer first hand knowledge. So I decide not to speak more than I should. History is aught to be accurately presented. So until I know more about it, I would just keep listening, less talking.
Love,
Fang
