Day 5 - Phnom Penh/Siem Reap

We hired a car and driver for the day. It was another 1989 Camry, everyone in Cambodia seems to drive a Camry. Our first stop was the Royal Palace followed by the Museum. They were both really interesting with some old Khmer pieces displayed in both. We managed to avoid the beggers and kids trying to sell bottles of water.

The next stop was the shooting range. I shot an AK47 and Pepsi shot a M16. We got ripped off big time, the hotel said it would be $30 but we got charged $50. We did not complain as it is not a wise move to argue with people who have guns. We just kept quiet and made it out alive. For $400 you could shoot a B40 rocket launcher and $50 for a hand grenade. It was tempting but at the time we did not have enough money. To shoot those we would have to travel to the mountains.

Our next stop was the killing fields. It was interesting but very sad at the same time (similar to Pearl Harbour). The had a building with lots of skeletons and bones as well as a lot of the history behind it all.

From here we swapped into another Camry and made our way to Siem Reap. Our driver was crazy and was blowing the horn the whole way while over taking everything in sight.

We must have eaten something dodgy because when we got there I started throwing up and after a while I was running from both ends. Pepsi may have laughed too soon and he was struck down a couple of hours later but at least he didn throw up but he did give the bowl a good workout.

The epic puke
You know what, it's not the food. It's the sacred weights that you made fun off. I bet it's made from some kind of sacred stones. The third photo must have been taken after puking. It's like you guys were starved for days. :D

Haha
Maybe we were sick after making fun of the ancient weights. At least they are innovative with their weights :) I can tell u we didnt feel well when we did Angkor Wat. We were both very dehydrated!!!

Weather was fine
The weather at Angkor was fine when we were there. When we were landing in Phnom Penh it looked like it was flooded but at ground level it was fine. I did not see any signs of Typhoons or floods
