It was then onto Liverpool where we ate dinner in a quaint lil street ‘Lark Lane’. The pub we chose to eat at served fantastic food however a white wine was served after requesting a red, and a beef burger came in place of the ordered chicken burger! We didn’t think our Australian accent was that hard to understand…Walking back to the gorgeous ‘Ullet Suites’ where we were staying, we took a wrong turn in Sefton Park which saw us get lost and along way from home in the dark. After some local, friendly advice we made our way back to the Suites coming across the famous ‘Penny Lane’ in our Journey. The following morning we set off on the Fab Four Beetles Taxi tour. Our guide ‘Danny’ was fantastic! We saw where each of the beetles grew up, where they met and we also met some of the people who grew up and knew the beetle’s boys personally… After the tour it was down to the docks for a lovely lunch and exploration of shops nearby. It was then back to the airport to drop off the car and get ready for our next adventure in Ireland. The hire car as of today has cost us $1500 for 9 days but we are in the midst of trying to sought that one out… scamming bastards. It was difficult trying to pack our luggage into 15kg limits as di-sy and Dale had left Australia with +20kgs each. After finally getting organised it was off to Ireland with Ryan Air…. Quickest flight ever… up….ten minutes….down =-). Welcome to Ireland. Jen is so excited!!
