LuferLuferLufer

My little brother gave me this before i left...his name is Lufer because my brother is missing two front teeth and couldn't say "luther"...
So I kinda feel like my mind is spinning with the newness of everything here...there is a huge diffrence between speaking Spanish in the United States and speaking Spanish here...I went to my history class on Tuesday and I kinda of felt like I was in a daze...the prof started speaking Spanish and it wasn't that I couldn't understand her, I just had to make the choice between listening and taking notes because I couldn't do both at the same time. I had the class again today and it was a lot better...everything is so different here...on campus all the profs are called by their first names...yesterday we were let out of class early because the school was celebrating its 21 birthday and the entire campus and all its visitors were given cake...cool huh?? I talk to my parents so much that I don't feel homesick...I guess I am just wanting everything to be familiar...right now everything is so new that is starting to frustrate me...I just wish that I could walk into a store and not be scared that I won't be understood or that I knew where everything was..I have only been here for two weeks and I know that these things take time...patience is a virtue right??

My Mohmeetha
Oh Mohmeetha, we miss you too!!!!!!!!!! My heart aches when I feel that you are sad but I find strength in your courage to go to a foreign place dispite your fears. You are an amazing woman and I admire your spirit and the old soul that inhabits your physical body. You will never know how far you can go until you go farther than you have ever gone. . . Love you mucho, macho, mucho, Mom
