Flying Foxes ....
Fascinating but oh so noisy and smellyWell, after a wonderful day at Dreamworld yesterday, it was time to relax a little. Just a spot of retail therapy at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, followed by lunch back at the apartment, a dip in the rooftop pool, reading books.....aaaaah!
Bruce came over and we headed over to the nearby park where we watched the resident flying fox colony awaken after a hard day's sleeping. Lots of noise, pungent odour and yeah ....dodging of poops!!
Tonight was the one and only dinner cooked at the apartment ...yummmm! An evening soak in the spa with Bruce leaving at 8.30pm as his work means he has to awaken at 4.30am!
