A New Zealand ambulance! Funny colours eh!
Hey! Well we haven't been out and about too much lately. No new places to report at the moment but a couple of pictures from my birthday and some pictures from Greg and Jess's farm! We headed out there on a Saturday for a BBQ - the boys were out for the day riding their dirt bikes and when we showed up Jess was in full gear trying to deliver a calf!! The calf was stuck and Jess was trying to get a hold of Greg! Her sister and brother in law were up for the weekend and Jaz (her sister) was trying to help. Anyway, don't stress! The boys showed up in time, Mark helped Greg deliver the calf and he was all fine! They had to push him back in, cause his leg was stuck back - they are suppose to come out front legs first followed by the head....this one had one leg forward, one leg back...I showed up JUST as the little thing was pulled out! It was a boy! So they will sell him. The pics are a bit gross cause he is still all slimy and yellow! Lol...then we went and fed the other baby

calves! They have this beautiful brown one, #10! She looks like a little deer! And she loves being scratched under her chin! While Jess was fetching their milk bottles I let them suck on my fingers - ewwwwww! lol
Other than that, all is well here. Kobi is great! Got a hair cut! Real short for the nice weather we are having....well not last night - tornado warnings! But I've started getting a tan already! The bee's are out and the daffodils are up! It's SPRING!
Mark and I are great too! We are looking at him coming to Canada either with me on the 18th OR shortly after me so that we can apply for common law sponsorship. I arrived here on Dec. 5th and am leaving Nov. 18th which is a couple of weeks shy of 12 months! I spoke with someone from Immigration and she said we need to be living together for a continuous 12 months so basically he has to come over with me and live in Canada with me until we have been living together for a year! We are hoping he gets to stay for 6 months - it is up to the

Thanks Kobie!!!
immigration officer when her arrives because he will just be traveling on his passport. So as of Dec. 6th I will apply to be his common law sponsor and he will apply for permanent residency. BUT the application can take up to a year to process! We are obviously hoping everything will be approved within the 6 months he is in Canada, but he may have to come back to New Zealand for up to another 6 months. Anyway, once all is done he will have his permanent residency and can work and live in Canada!!! But of course, during his 6 month stay he can't work :S so we will have to find lots of fun winter projects for him! But I think things are going to all work out well! It will just be a sort of transition year!
Anyway, thats our situation at the moment! Hope all of you are doing well! I can't wait to see everyone!
Enjoy the pictures!
xxoo love An
