Bill Takes a dip... Bill Takes a dip... Bill Takes a dip...

I know someone knows where this is...
Day 2

Out of Spokane later than I hoped. I had a little problem working my new sexy netbook . Spent a while working with tech support. Truth be known.. I could have just been an idiot. All is good now.

So on the road, a quick stop for coffee and time to make some miles. I took I-90 over to the rest stop just inside Idaho to decide where to go.

I decided to slab it to just past Missoula and pick up 200 heading east - northeast. This is where the fun starts.

200 is a wonderful two lane road in this stretch as it climbs the west side of the Continental Divide, the pine trees are in abundance, much like in the cascades as I cross over and drop down the east side I am stunned by the vast open plains.

The road itself was delicious, west it flowed like the river it continued to cross and border, filled with wonderful sweeping turn. The east side got better. There was some tight twistys that opened up to wide open sweepers that begged for triple digits…

I ended up in Great Falls, took in a NA meeting and called it a night.

Thanks for reading.

OK... Im settin here in Anchorage, but I have a pretty clear recollection of my youth... Judging by the Clarity of the water, the Temperature looks to be pretty cold (by the expression on Mr. Bills Face) Im thinkin he got in a little too deep! The Piles driven into the lake... the stated locality... I would have to say Lake Couer d' alene at the outlet/ beggining of the Spokane River? Am I close? I followed your previous trip, hope you dont mind if I ride along? I subscribed to your blog...
