For anyone still hanging in there we have a few more pics. After leaving Boondooma Lake with Geoff and Marie we headed to Inskip Point to have some time with Bruce and Jo. It is such a lovely place to camp You can have campfires, dogs and as much space as you need and all of this for just $10 a night and only a minutes walk from the beach. The weather was reasonable, although we did have a couple of days that were a bit windy and cool (I won't say cold, because most of you would probably laugh at me). I managed to cook a few nice meals from the camp oven on the fire and on one of the cooler days we decided to make some dampers. They turned out nicely and we decided to try our hand at scones next time. We still have a lot to learn about camp oven cooking but it is great fun trying. We caught a few different fish but nothing to really skite about.
After ten days there we headed back to River Heads and have had a couple of nice days fishing out in the Sandy Straits. Tackle World had a big sale on so we decided to buy new light rods for ourselves and I was pretty happy to catch a decent sized Slate Bream on mine the first time I used it. I also caugh a shark but we decided to throw it back after all the trouble we had trying to take the photo. We are very grateful to Ann and Bernie for the use of their house while they are away as it makes things like washing, cleaning and repairs a lot easier, not to mention that John can actually catch up on some good uninterrupted sleep.
As we approach the end of yet another winter escape I am starting to miss family and friends and will enjoy catching up with everyone when we get back home. We do still have the muster to look foward to and probably another short trip with Geoff and Marie. We are also looking forward to Michael and Marilyn arriving.
Thats all folks so until next time take care.

Love to all
Maree and John
PS I am having trouble loading the photos so a couple will have to go on next time
