At 4 'o clock we dropped a shaking Lola off to jail otherwise known as, "the vet", and we were off! Once off, without a Starbucks, because of dad who made stupid excuses like "traffic" and was unmoved by begging. In Norman, Dads road rage, which had already been in full power, after me telling him to calm down were not in a hurry he responded, "Settle down" kicked into overdrive as the boys started a new game, counting the cars that we passed and cheering, Highway Nascar. An hour or two passed uneventfully as Caleb listened to his iPod, and me, mom, and Connor demolished a bag of jellybeans, then when we stopped into a lovely gastation, mom wasn't excited they didn't even have Diet Coke, we all bought even more junk, but hey were on vacation. Meanwhile, at the gas station coin-opperated game Caleb and mom were inserting a quarter, I walk over and look at a pretty hilarious sign on the machine I read aloud , "Do not shake, alarm will sound" I laugh and walk away. As I walk back to get my M&Ms a loud beeping alarm goes off, everyone in the gastation look at a red-faced Caleb. I dragged him out to the car everyone in the car was cracking up. Dads roadrage had cooled down and was semi-calm. Nothing exciting happened until we stopped at yet another gastation, and not just a gastation, my favorite kind, a gastation connected to a restraunt. This Subway/Loves had all your truck stop needs like coffe mugs that said things like " I'm too sexy to be 50" and horse t-shirts. Our favorite gastation shopper, Caleb even tried to buy you all some souveniers. We were almost to Dallas and as soon as we mentioned Maggianos Connor started drooling when we pulled into the parking lot Connor almost ran to the door. We ordered "family style" which was HUGE amounts of food. Connor practically inhaled the entire plate of steak and later said it was the best food he had ever had. Next, we checked into our hotel, it was amazing, and the room was great, very modern. Then we actually went down to the workout room and after were all exhausted and went to sleep. Tommorow New Orleans!
