Good Morning all, it has been a long time since our last blog as we have not quite figured out how to do it til now plus the crap internet connection in the hostels that we stayed in.

Cape Town was great, we did not venture out at night in fear of being mugged but cooked some brilliant meals in the hostels (craigs speciality pasta and beans).

First day, we got to the sunflower which was all good, met a guy caleld Darren from Pontypridd in Wales and for all the people for all that know us your never going to believe that he knew washington and used to go out with a girl from their. I mean travel thousands of miles and you meet someone who knew the Galleries - Imagine that.

Day 2 - it chucked it down - the pic is on facebook so you can see but we would have been drier jumping in a swimming pool - the waterproofs certainly worked though.

Day 3 - Terminator Salvation was the order of the day - it was good but could have been so much better - oh and it only cost 33 rand - 2 Pound.

Day 4 - Robben Island - Thats where Nelson M resided for 28 years - not of free will though. Boat ride was interesting, people were spuing their guts up because they couldnt handle a gentle wave or 2.

Day 5 - Cage diving - Unbelievable. Got up at stupid o'clock to get to Gansbaai but was well worth it - I even was humming the theme tune to jaws on the boat - But seriously the words "I think we need a bigger boat" were mentioned a few times.

Day 6 - Table mountain climb - its fairly large and I have to admit I struggled a little because of eating no brekkie as the weetbix over here are awful. Kim did power on through and win but am just practising for Everest.

Day 7 - Got on the sight seeing bus and went to Hout Bay were they give you your own passport as it is its own republic - basically a republic of fishing. Catch of the day just came in and the women got hard to work on it. Little boy on the edge of the dock was chargin 100 rand so we could feed the seal's by popping the fish in our mouth and letting it jump and take it out. I think not.
