I spent the day walking in Paris and boy are my feet tired! I planned on only visiting Musee du Louvre and then walking around downtown to see the remainning sight from the street as my budget is pretty limited on this trip and Europe is very expensive but One of the people I was visiting in Versailles highly recommened that I see Musee D'Orsay so I did. Unsuprisingly, being that he was a local, he was right.

Musee D'Orsay is a must see when in Paris! The museum consist of 1800-1900 impressionism. Just so we are clear. I have no training in art but I know what I like and I liked the works there very very much. Impressionism is most famous for its paintings and the painting were wonderful to see, however; the sculptors pulled me in and I could not seem to stay away from them even though my time was limited and I knew there were world famous painting housed at Musee D'Orsay. I have always heared that art was suppose to move you and bring out emotions but I have never expirianced such a thing. Until now. The sculptors moved me and stirred my emotions like Ive never expiriaanced before.

The Best part:
It cost me 9 euros toget in which I thought was quiet inexpensive for what I got out of it.

The worst part:
Every one must check their bags and purses which left me trying to stuff my pockets with all my valuables.

Musee du Louvre was overwhelming! I bet you could spend 4 days there before you felt like you saw most of the art but being the smart cookie I am, I did a little leg work before coming to Paris and I knew the the Mona Lisa was there so I asked which wing had the Mona Lisa and that is the wing I stayed in. It was really cool tpo see but even though I choose to stick with one wing it was still a lot to see. Again, not knowing much about art, I choose to analyse daily life from the pictures and to take potos of some of the odd things I found within the paintings. It was great to see da Vinci's John the Baptist painting. I have always found it to be interesting because it always seemed to me that the picture was of someone who was flerting with the painter and that the painter was very fond of the model. The best part was that right beside John the Baptist was another painting with the same model. Ummm....

The best part
It too cost 9 euros.

The worst part:
The Mona Lisa was behind glass with gard rails to keep you back.

After Musee du Louvre, I walked a long the river to the Effel Tower. If anyone is reading this and know how to opperate the pay/rent bikes I would love some information.
