What a night!

Stephanie and I are in chiang mai right now (Northern Thailand). We took a cooking course yesterday on an organic farm. It was so nice to get out of the City. ete some. Yesterday we went to a farm to learn how to cook thai food. It was amazing, unfortunately, I got a severe bout of food poisoning. I was up all night. It was NASTY! We have been trying to recover but it is very difficult. We were supposed to go on a two day trek today into the hill tribes, no way we were going to be up for that. We will try for a one day trek tomorow instead! Friday or Saturday we will bus to Chiang Rai and head back for a night in Bangkok. Then we will take the overnight train to Ko Samui in the South.

Hey Carolyn! Jessica had to stay home on the 15th from her teaching in Daegu, South Korea, same thing....Food Poisoning on Valentine's Day!!! It must be an Asian thing! :>) Hope you recover quickly and get back on "track" very soon. Sharron

Darn food poisoning
Hopefully you'll get over the poisoning soon. It's a real drag having that on your trip. Take care of yourself and watch what you eat. Don't burn yourself out, you're just starting your trip. Love the pictures, it seems amazing to be there! Take care.
