Ok, so I have decided on a new mission. Partly because of something Casey said to us, I've decided that I am going to put together a series of photos and writings to make you all so jealous of Alaska that you will HAVE to come up here! 😊 It really is absolutely beautiful here. I'm having a much better day by the way. I guess it's just hard adjusting to not knowing anything or anyone up here. I saw a ton of people my age hanging around downtown today, though, so that was encouraging. David is going to the chiropractor after work today, so hopefully that will make him feel a lot better. We will have to post a picture of how it looks now. It's really weird. When he stands up straight, it looks like his mid section is leaning over to the left. Very weird.
We figured out how to use our video chat the other night. Mike and Casey were the first ones we tried it out with and it's really cool being able to see people when you are talking to them online. If anyone else has video chat enabled on their computer, let us know. 😊 It makes us feel a little less lonely.
Griffin is ridiculously popular up here. We thought that everyone would have huskies when we got here, but we were wrong. Everyone is always so excited to see him. It's really funny. I think the next dog I want is a Malamute (sp?) though. We've seen a couple now that look exactly like Griffin, but they are the size of a small couch! They are huge! It's awesome. 😊
I can't wait until we get into our apartment! This stupid guy has jerked us around so much about giving us the car money. David called Ebay yesterday and they gave him the OK to offer the car to the second highest bidder. We would only be losing 50 dollars going with him, so I think it's a good decision. Hopefully he still wants the car.
I'm still waiting on a job. I have applied at so many places it's ridiculous. Hopefully I hear something soon. I guess it is kind of nice being able to just walk around downtown and explore the city during the day though. Well, off to make all of you jealous! I'm going to try to become a photographer today lol. I know it probably won't be that great, but I still want your critiques. Especially you Miss Sherrie Brown. 😊 You're the best photog I know. Let me know if I have any potential haha.

Hey, I cant wait to see your pictures! What do you use to video chat with.. skype? I dont have it now but I will get it when I get back home. Anyways, Barcelona is good so far... Im getting better at spanish too!! Miss you!
