Hey guys!! well were back from our 3 days trek into the hills of northern thailand!! alot of fun but fairly hard at times. living in lisu and akha villages for three days with no western furnishings or anything is quite challenging. also it was around 38 degrees and 80% humdity all the time which meant we were increadibly sweaty. at the mo were in chaing rai and today went to the burmese border, and the golden triangle and an opium museum!
Previously before the trek ( i cant remember where we got up to) we spent 2 days ona raft house floating down the river, elephant trekking in the jungle, bamboo rafting, i went to a thai cooking school whilst katy went for a 5 hour bike ride in the heat.
Last night after the trek and showers we all got drunk with our group leader in the teepee bar to the extent that he had to be sent home for drinking too much at 10pm whilst the rest of us stayed out dancing with this scary owner man who dressed up as every rock star in the world and pretended to sing wholst the song played (pictures will explain when we upload them).
Cant believe the tours almost over which means thailand is almost over (only another 11 days left before we fly onto oz!!)
Missing you all
love xxxxxxx
