We rented a car and defied death as we made our way along hairpin turns which cantilevered over the Mediterranean Sea. Despite the overcast weather, it was stunning scenery.

A happy accident, we met a Scotish couple who told us of a hike to an ancient ruin overlooking the isle of Capri.

There were steps carved into the stone through this crevasse that led to the rocky shore.
